Paul Rivera

Mr. Rivera co-founder of CyberOps Training Academy and President / CEO of Def-Logix, Inc. has 20+ years of cybersecurity experience in the Government contracting industry.  He attended the University of Texas at San Antonio, the leading university in Cyber Security, where he obtained a bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science and Information Technology/Information Assurance Concentration. He is an expert in Information Technology specializing in red/blue team tool development, and computer and network security. As president and CEO of Def-Logix, Inc. Paul has earned recognitions in the cybersecurity industry and has led the organization to multiple awards as one of the fastest-growing companies in San Antonio, TX (2019 & 2020).

Rob Dodson
Co-Founder/ Lead Instructor
Mr. Dodson is a 30-year security professional. A retired Army  Signals Intelligence Warrant Officer, Rob has conducted  Offensive, Defensive, and Management Cyber Operations roles. Rob is an Army Certified Instructor and Course Developer and was an Adjunct Instructor for the National Security Agency (NSA). Rob views CyberOps Academy biggest value is training the workforce of tomorrow today. Rob is a SABSA Chartered Architect and maintains a number of industry certifications to include CISM, CDPSE, CISSP, CMMC-RP, and NSA-IAM.
Karina Frias
Operations Lead

Ms. Frias is the Operations Lead of CyberOps Training Academy and Director of Proposals and Business Development for Def-Logix, Inc. She has 6+ years of experience in Government contracting focused in the area of Cybersecurity Research & Development.  After earning her degree in Economics and Information Systems from the University of Texas at San Antonio she joined the Def-Logix team and has contributed her expertise in market analytics to Government and Commercial business ventures. She is a dynamic and motivated professional with a record of identifying, analyzing, and securing new business opportunities. Karina is also committed to establishing opportunities for new tech talent and is a proud sponsor of TEDE (Transition of Equity and Diversity into Engineering).
